Orthodontic Assistant

  • 80 hr 4 weeks

Orthodontic Assistant Students wear navy blue scrubs with white closed toe shoes. White lab coat if needed. 

 

Students also must provide proof of HEP B vaccination before the clinical site can be assigned.

 

Prerequisites:
#1 Student must have attended a Dental Assistant program that consist of 160 hours or above. The student will have to provide Academy of Acadiana with an official transcript reflecting the above credit hours.

or

#2 Student must have documented evidence of minimum of 1 year employment in a dental office. It is required to be an official letter from the facility which employed.
