Medical Insurance & Coding Specialist

4 week 80 hours (classroom)
The course objective is to familiarize the student with major health insurance programs and federal health regulations.
The student will be provided with basic knowledge of national diagnostic and procedural coding systems.
Students will receive hands-on experience needed to process insurance claims in the medical and dental fields.

8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Monday through Thursday

Medical Insurance and Coding Specialist students wear hunter green scrubs with white closed toe shoes.

White lab coat if needed.

Upon completion of the class, National Certification testing is optional for an additional fee.
