EKG Technician

  • The EKG Technician program is an 80 hr course, taught over a 4 week period.
  • The Electrocardiograph technician program introduces the principles of basic Electrocardiograph which prepares the technician to perform non-invasive cardiac testing procedures in a health setting under supervision.
  • This program includes basic anatomy and physiology with emphasis on the cardiovascular and respiratory system, as well as interpretation of basic and life-threatening arrhythmia
  • Anatomy and Physiology of the heart
  • Interpretation and Evaluation of EKG Tracings
  • Operation of the Electrocardiograph Machine

The school uniform for EKG Students is burgandy scrubs with white closed toe shoes. White lab coat if needed.

Upon completion of the class, National Certification testing is optional for an additional fee. Reserved seating only. Pre-registration is required.
